Roslin Curling Pond.

I looked after Hamish today while his pets went to Glesca to hear a performance of the Messiah. I almost felt jealous of them. Hamish took me for a walk to the old curling pond, I was armed with a fish-eye lens and a flashgun; it was interesting. The view of the pond shows little sign of distortion, true the trees are not upright - but then they don't grow vertically anyway. I found the extra of the fungi worked far better than I had expected, though it is not an earth shattering composition, and the diffused flash didn't come out of the experience too badly either after a bit of dodging. 
That lens may have some potential after all.
