Tiny Tuesday: Lighting the Cake

It is Cathy's birthday today, and a very jolly day we have had of it.  We always try to ensure that we are not working on each other's birthday.  This year, we went for lunch in nearby Bath to a restaurant called Clayton's Kitchen which we really enjoyed.  They were able to cope with our daughter Jess's requirements for gluten free fare, and the service was excellent.  

Jess was due to go back to University last weekend (although term does not start for another week yet), but delayed her return; possibly to be able to enjoy another week of our company, or perhaps for a week of home cooking (prepared by others for her) and almost certainly to be able to be with her Mum on her Mum's birthday.

The extra is a shot taken on the little Sony, of Bath in the late afternoon sunshine.
