Another backblip, catching up on the weekend

A rainy, grey day again, not much incentive to go outside as you can see from Peggy Sue's extremely relaxed sleeping position! As some of you may recall, she was very nervous when she first came to us from daughter #2, no doubt due to the fact that we already had 3 feline incumbents.  Sadly the one who was most friendly, Missy, is the one that has left us, but PS is making the best of it and settling in more and more all the time, which fact she is demonstrating  here by choosing a favourite chair to nap on!
In other news: the building work is coming on well and today we went to choose outside lights that we will need on the remodelled walls.  We already have some outside wall lanterns and were astonished and delighted to discover that the very same ones are still being made some 17 years later!

I have today  pledged a further sum to Blipfuture and do hope that the crowdfunding target will be reached.  I hope that when talks take place with the current owners next Tuesday, they are convinced that it will.
