Six Years of Blipping

It doesn't come up that way because I've done quite a bit of back blipping. But this is actually my sixth Blip anniversary. I missed three days. And it is a testament to just how compulsive I have been about Blip that I know what the dates are of those three days. I mean really! I won't bore you with those dates but I know them...

Blip means a huge amount to me so I am watching the current Blipfuture campaign with bated breath. I really do want Blip to stick around. It has gotten me through some very difficult years and they aren't over yet. And it has allowed me to improve my photographic skills and to meet and become friends with people all over the world. I am even contemplating taking a journey to visit some of them, though that really can't happen in the near future. But it is in my mind. What an amazing community of people are here sharing their photographs and their lives with each other. And being excellent while they do it. This is a very special place.

This photo is what Arvin and I saw this morning as the sun illuminated the clouds from below. This is an HDR of seven photos made by Aurora HDR Pro, but I contemplated two others and this was only slightly better in my opinion. One was a Nik HDR Pro image and the other was a single image fiddled with on Lightroom. It really was this dramatic and very wonderful. It almost made Arvin and me late for our day... but not quite.

Arvin went to his "big group" and I took a class on making neutrals given by my teacher Trish Harding. It was a great class and I enjoyed painting with seven other women and a man. Learned some things I'll be using in my paintings. A nice day all around.

Now it is close to midnight and I have to head off to bed. I wish I had more commenting time but these days I really don't. If I want to paint and take photographs, take care of all the household business, and hang out with Arvin when he is home, there just isn't time to do enough commenting. And I do miss that. But staying creative and keeping things running kind of smoothly do have priority. And Arvin does as well of course. But I am here. And I do care about you and your lives. And I really appreciate the faithful who keep stopping by and commenting. Thank you all so very much.
