Tiny Toadstool

(or mushroom)

Out with Finlay this morning - another lovely bright crisp day. We ventured into the woods - hoping that the mud would be a little less liquid as it was so cold. It wasn't too bad and we managed to get through without falling over!

We investigated a path that we have not use before - but sadly the path goes though a field that is currently filled with sheep. I am a little reluctant to go through with the dog as I don't want to upset the sheep. I did photograph a pair that looked like a push-me-pull-u ( see extras - there was just a little work needed to remove the extra leg!)

The toadstool / mushroom was just sitting in the middle of the path- it is so small I almost stood on it. It is about 1.5 cm in diameter - barely taller then the grass and I got the camera in to about 1cm to get the shot.
