A Quick Update

Hi there and we hope you are having a great weekend.  We just wanted to give you an update and let you know that the collection of pledges is going really well.  We have had a few occasions where payment has been declined when the payment collection request was made to your card company. Thankfully, these have been rare.  We’ve emailed any pledgers where this has happened to let them know and we’ve had a great response from those who have got back in touch.  If you have any concerns that your pledge hasn’t been collected please get in touch by emailing us at 'info@blipfuture.com'. 

There were a number of comments on the last Blip Central post asking whether the pledge badges on the site could be optional or not show the amount donated. We've answered this in a previous Blip Central post, but it clearly matters to you!

We have to continue to offer the option of having an amount-specific pledge badge on the site, because that is what our contract is with those that have bought shares. Similarly donations, whether by PayPal or the crowdfunding site, also qualify for these badges.

However, we acknowledge that some people feel uncomfortable having the amount of the donation or the fact that they have donated shown. To respond to this, we are completely open to either displaying a non-amount-specific pledge badge, or removing the badge entirely from your profile if that’s what you want. We will be sending a short survey to pledgers once the sale has been completed, asking for your blip name and pledge badge preference. 


As we previously let you know, over the next few weeks we are concentrating on the mechanics of the transfer, collecting the pledges, finalising the purchase agreement and formally taking over the site.  We hope to have that completed by the end of February.
