Cheerful daffodils

Morning sunshine on these daffodils made them look bright and cheerful - these were growing on the green in the village, and they are bigger than the tiny ones in my garden.

It's a busy day - Thomas breaks up for half term, I had quite a few errands to run this morning and now I need to take Murdoch to his holiday hotel as we are going skiing for half term and leave very early tomorrow morning.

We always book our tickets long in advance to get cheaper flights, and we are very loyal to British Airways but they have really annoyed us on this occasion. This time last year we were bumped off the flight as they had overbooked seats, and again this year, despite booking nine months ago, they would not confirm that we had seats. Gavin has phoned them twice a day, every day, for a week to get them to confirm seats - as he does so much flying for work he is a life gold member and gets all sorts of privileges, yet they would not confirm seats. However, after a week of him phoning and complaining they finally confirmed seats two days ago!

I must dash, still plenty to do....
