But, then again . . . . .

Linus Quilts.

It was a quick burl with Merlin around the John Muir Country Park followed by moderately disgusting lunch at the deserted East Links Family Park, both of them just outside Dunbar, today. I remain unsure of the reason we didn’t go into the town where there are plenty of nice cafes that would serve respectable coffees and soups.
Merlin is beginning to show signs of his nearly 14 years of age and his misspent youth, he now starts limping if he walks more than a few hundred yards; he’s also paying the price of having been born a corgi, not a breed of dog that was designed for a healthy life.

Any road up, the reason we found ourselves in the area was to collect this pile of Linus Quilts which now need to be checked and labeled for distribution to the various charities that care for children traumatized for whatever reason, though most of them will find their way to the Sick Children’s Hospital in Edinburgh. I wonder if I can claim a mileage allowance for such trips.
