Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

All in a row

My hill ewes eating their breakfast this morning. Cuillin still looking great but not enjoying confinement. Almost forgot about having Moss coming to stay for a couple of days until the owner phoned this morning to say they were setting off! Hes quite happy to be back with the pack and settled instantly. Then i had the equine podiatrist here to trim our horses feet and I went with her to the farm where we manage the livestock to do their horses are the owners are away. Lots of chatting was done!!

Then i set to in the self catering cottages beginning with big clear and clean out of my cleaning cupboard. Then onto cleaning the cottages themselves. My mum has organised a weekend with a women coming to do alexander technique with folk.
"
The Alexander technique (AT), named afterFrederick Matthias Alexander, is an educational process that teaches people how to avoid unnecessary muscular and mental tension. It is based on Alexander's idea that a person's self awareness may be inaccurate, resulting in muscles being used in ways that unnecessarily cause tension. Examples of this include standing or sitting with weight unevenly distributed, holding one's head incorrectly, walking or running inefficiently, or responding to stressful stimuli in an exaggerated way. Alexander said that people who habitually "misused" their muscles in such ways could not trust their feelings (sensory appreciation) when carrying out activities or responding to situations emotionally."
