Cross Spider, Araneus diadematus

I was interested to compare this bright orange Orb Weaver (aka Cross Spider) to the last one I blipped:

Their colour can vary enormously. 

This one's abdomen is only 7mm long so I think qualifies for Tiny Tuesday, kindly hosted by trisharooni.

It was a 'rest' day, exercise wise, as my back was sore, but it turned out to be very productive.
