An ordinary life....

Pink to make the boys wink!

Marion brought me these beautiful lilies at the weekend and they are currently filling our hall with the most wonderful scent.  I know not everyone likes the smell of lilies but I do (unless it's in a confined space and very overpowering.)

All go here today.  This morning it was the annual review of the management company who manage Alan's support workers and as we are happy with the service they provide, that was pretty much plain sailing.

After lunch Christine (an agency support worker we are currently using to fill some gaps) arrived and she and Alan got wrapped up and went a walk down the High Street.  They've just returned and Alan is absolutely full of the joys!  Whatever it is Christine is saying to him, he can hardly breathe for laughing.   It's the most joyful sound in the world.

As I type, David is showing one of the builders who has expressed an interest in tendering for the building contract for the pool and garden room around.  He wants to have a look at the site to get a better idea of the size of the job.  Here's hoping he still wants to submit a tender after his visit.

I have spent a chunk of the afternoon sorting old photos and trying to get them into some kind of date order and to make up for today's boring flower blip, I shall upload one of them in a minute or two as an archive blip to give you a laugh :-))

Watch this space....
