Yes, blossom again. But I liked the contrasts here. See extra for the context. S is off in the mountains ... meanwhile I had a lie-in, then nobly did a bit more work, read, baked. Now, fire lit, cat asleep, G&T and book to hand, Zbigniew Preisner playing on the stereo (please listen if you don't know his music!). The kind of solitary evening I enjoy.
