Archie fails

A lie in, courtesy of a snoozing Archie, then we popped to see Bailey's mum, J. Bailey was out with one of her many friends, so Archie was able to have a wee try of Bailey's new toy/intelligence test. I'm afraid he failed. Miserably. Even when he was shown. Hadn't a scooby, poor lad. Bailey, on the other hand, apparently mastered it right away.

We then took him for a run up the hill. Just on the grassy slopes, mind you, but good enough for our lad - he met lots of dogs, including a huge Irish Wolfhound who was still a puppy. Archie was fascinated, and followed her around for ages. He did lots of running backwards and forwards between us to compensate for not going right up the hill.

JR dropped Archie and I back home to watch the tennis for the afternoon, while she set off to an out-of-town shopping centre for some goodies for a special day on Monday. She was away for hours, and swears she'll never go back there on a Saturday afternoon again! Every man/woman and his/her dog were there. Except Archie and I, of course.

However, it was a most successful trip. More of which later...
