Close Encounters of the Turd Kind

I mentioned a couple of days ago that the farmer must be muck spreading judging by the number of tractor-loads of the stuff that had been going down past the house. Well, on my walk today I discovered that it hasn't yet been spread, but is in a big stockpile waiting for the deed to be done. I have to say this is the biggest pile of poo I have ever seen, and I've seen some. My Blip today is a bit of a selfie but was taken by my lovely assistant, W, and shows me next to the pile. And if you've ever seen the film 'Close Encounters', the extra picture may show why I thought of that film when I saw it!
