Not sticks, silly!  Saguaro cacti.  As far as the eye can see.

Did you know that saguaro cactus are native to only one place on earth?  The Sonoran desert...right here in the southern half of the state of Arizona.  They are also a protected plant.  Major fines are levied for defacing or removing them from where they grow, even if they are on private property.
