7.1C with a hint of haar again. Not misty but feeling slightly damp and dull. Light ENE breeze.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Van Morrison on the Nano (Avalon Sunset and Hymns to the Silence). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. No sign of the farmer today. The tractor was in the farmyard.

We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach. The sea was calm. The tide had just started to come in. There were three or four dog walkers scattered along the length of the beach. We went down onto the sand below the high tide line to look for something to photograph. I ended up with this short seaweed covered post in some vague attempt at something with texture.

We had a wander along the beach as far as the fishermen's huts then came back along East Row. We crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
