Life in Sunny Dubai

Take a seat please...

Couldn't resist this shot as we pulled up to park up for the afternoon... It was too funny. They chairs were gone when we went out again, a couple of hours later. The only thing I don't like about this new flat is the shops at ground level. Oh and the walk from the car to the building - not fun when you've done a big shop.

It's been a busy day. Another early wake up to drop G to work. Got home straight away and discovered my car was ready, so I raced to Volvo to bring it home. I have indicators. After years!!! They work 100% of the time! They don't make much noise so I will have to keep an eye on them.

Met up with friend Miriam for a coffee and long overdue catch-up. We chatted non-stop for an hour and a half, and then - she went to the airport to catch a flight to Bangalore, and I went to Carrefour to get a new mop set for Nara, our cleaner. He is very impressed with this new Vileda...

And in the evening - we visited the Salvation Army church for the first time this year. Palm Sunday on Wednesday (which had to be marked today as they don't meet on a Sunday). Can't believe how fast the weeks are flying.
