Saturday Night Singha!

Mr K took the Little Misses to swimming this morning while I half heartedly tidied up and did a bit of homework before they got back. Not long after they got home Nanny came to visit.
We had a lazy afternoon drinking tea and chatting. Very nice!
I remembered that Miss L needs to make an Easter Bonnet for a parade on Wednesday so I popped to Hobbycraft and ran amok amongst the Easter craft section - daffodils, bunnies, pipe cleaners, daisies, butterflies, yellow tissue paper, pink ribbon, chicks..... Miss L is going to have a field day!!!
While I was gone Mr K and Nanny took the Little Misses for a scoot up to the park. Miss E managed to almost break her leg leaping off a climbing frame and banging her leg on the way down and then spent the rest of the day hopping dramatically - and ever so slightly manically - all over the house. At top speed. Often avoiding crashing head first into door frames by the skin of her teeth. Sigh!
Nanny kindly offered to babysit so we went out for a lovely Thai meal.
I kindly offered to drive so Mr K could enjoy his Singha.
On the way home we listened to Mix 96 and relived my our clubbing days - bopping away and shrieking singing along with such classics as Groove is in the Heart. It was brilliant!
I had to laugh when the over-excited DJ was talking about people heading out for their big nights out just as we were heading home!! At 9pm!
We called into Tescos and while Mr K was in there getting emergency supplies of chocolate I sat in the car park with the greatest club hits blasting away. I was transported back to my misspent youth riding round Bicester with the Bicester Boy Racers in their souped-up Escorts!
We went home, said goodnight to the minxy Little Misses who were still up, ate all the chocolate, felt sick and watched Grand Designs.
Rock and Roll!!!
