Big Blip Meet London

Well having survived Storm Katie, trying to blow the house down, a day in London did not look promising. However when C and I got to London the weather was dry and very unlike what we left behind in Hitchin.

We headed to the National Gallery and followed the James Mayhew 'Katie' trail, pulling in the Sunflowers and a few other Van Gogh and Cezanne pictures along the way.

Lunch was at Pizza Express, sure fire way of being considered a great Mum. We then bused along to St. Paul's, a rare treat for C as we tend to walk everywhere. Cameras out we wandered round St. Paul's, over Millennium Bridge and along to More London. There we met with 12 other Blippers for the Big London Blip Meet.

We wandered back along the river with the Blippers, C seemed quite at home, in fact she took this shot, which is my blip as it will be the only shot with every blipper in it. You may recognise NicoiseannieEyecatchingArachneKandCamera, Annie and ChrisStrangled Duck,  amongst others.

The weather was beautiful, beautiful blue skies. We retired to a Riverside pub and the heavens opened. When Anne, Carys and I left to come home it was a different London we headed out into, wet and grey.

Back to school tomorrow for four days and then it is the holidays. Can't wait to spend a bit more time with my Monkies.

The extras are my shots from today.
