Purple Sunrise

There were a few  clouds around sunrise so I attempted to get as colorful a shot as I could.  This was the best of the lot.  It was unremarkable before the sun peeked over the mountains and pretty colorless (unless you like a simple blue sky) moments later.

High clouds moved in about an hour later and it was completely overcast the remainder of the day.  That usually keeps the temperature down a little but the high was 93°/34°.  It's forecast  to get a little cooler the rest of the week, though.  Only 66°/19° and a 40% chance of rain by Sunday.  Boy, could we use that rain!
