A Black & White in Black & White

It's been a murky day up here in the trees, the views from my desk somewhat stymied by the low cloud and drizzle.

Before the gloom led to drizzle I wandered out on to the west deck to watch and listen to the magpies. The chortling Australians were in full song in the eucalyptus today, rivalling the bellbirds and warblers in the volume stakes.

If the rain eases up a bit later I'm going to check out the mushrooms from yesterday and see if they do indeed glow in the dark. Watch this space...
