A different view

on a very different day.

A lovely early walk in sunshine, the grass was very wet with sparkly dew and mist was hanging in the Aire valley but we had further plans today.

We took the train to Leeds in time to,hit Trinity Kithcen for lunch before the rush. We both had Greek Pita breads filled with Pork (Chris) and Haloumi (me) with salad and Tsatziki with a Mythos Greek beer.
With a bit of time to kill we had a look around the Trinity centre named after the Trinity church, the spite of which you can see here through the roof.

Our main destination was Leeds Grand Theatre for a matinee performance of Single Spies by Alan Bennett. It was really two short plays about the spies Burgess and Blunt. There was some excellent acting ( the same actors in both plays) and some very clever writing.

We made it back in time for the pub with friends and son Alex. What a great day. I'm pooped now!
