Perhaps I fiddled with this one a bit too much in ColorEfex, but it seems like ages since I posted a vine blip. Taken while we milled around outside the smallest "big" top I've ever seen, waiting for the show Marée Basse by la compagnie Sacékripa to start. Once the 70 of us were in there, crammed onto rough wooden benches, it was very cosy indeed.

It was a two-man show, and it was all about timing. No words at all, and it was not so much about comic timing, although it was funny, as timing of physical actions. The two men shambled drunkenly about the small space, tripping over furniture (or even getting jammed in it in the case of an innocent chair) and crashing into walls, but every clumsy move was perfectly timed. Just as well as some of the clumsiness involved wickedly sharp knives and a machete. Also acrobatics in which the unfortunate smaller partner did a lot of crashing to the floor or getting hit on the head with blunt objects. He must be permanently black and blue. Clever and funny, a good way to spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon. Sample here.
