Tiny Tuesday: Feather

Thanks for all the comments on my kestrel shot yesterday. In case any one was concerned about the birds being kept in captivity I should say that the people concerned rescue birds (mainly owls) that have been injured and nurse them back to health for release; only those that are unlikely to survive in the wild are kept, and they were clearly well looked after.

Sticking with the 'bird' theme for Tiny Tuesday, this is a small piece of Ostrich feather. There aren't too many ostriches close to where I live so I have to confess I did not personally pluck it from the bird; it fell out of our feather duster.
