Family heirloom

In the early 20th century my great-uncle lived in China as a missionary for the Presbyterian Church. By all accounts, he loved it there. When he returned to Pennsylvania, he brought with him two Chinese children who lived here with his family for a year or so. He also brought other mementos; among them was this beautiful fan. It, and some of the other items, ended up in the possession of my father. My mother loved this fan, had it framed, and displayed it in her home. Now it is mine and hangs on the wall of my home. I wish it could talk because I know it would have some wonderful stories to tell.
