Capturing my Journey

Exploring on the beach and came across this oystercatcher nest, swiftly moved on so as not to disturb the parents off the nest for too long. A morning spent working on the fence on my training field, really hard going in the heat. By 2pm we were exhausted so decided to call it quits and head down to our farm beach for the afternoon, with venison steaks, some tatties for baking and Prosecco! It was lovely down there although we did come back with a wee passenger that we hadnt bargained for. As we turned up at the beach with the pick up there were some geese with their wee goslings on the track and they went running off to the sea when they saw us coming. Well about an hour later Pip appears with a gosling she has found in the undergrowth above the beach. By this point the geese had completely vacated the area so we picked it up and I emptied our tool box and put it in with some water and a towel over it. It is now in with my runner ducklings, it and the ducklings are a little surprised by this. I couldn't leave it at the beach the gulls or crows would have had it in not time!! After a few ours lazing around we have come home and it just started raining. The dogs loved their afternoon and are really tired now! Think its meant to be cooler from now on.

22c 5mph NE sunshine all day until 6pm when cloud came over and a touch of rain.
