In a new pile

PROJECT: Shift the saved pieces of demolition timber

Problem solved. S organised the hire of a small (but big enough) truck. I provided the muscle and the driving, and managed to move it all in about three and a half hours.

The bottom four or five layers are the lovely big Kauri boards from the old outside laundry, demolished when we moved the laundry into little more than a cupboard inside the old villa. The boards are an inch thick, a foot wide and up to nine feet long. I look forward to removing the paint and getting some useable timber for .... (still to be decided).

That was enough for me and I've done very little since.
