Stripes

Another Sunday, another fun afternoon of shouting and tears and craziness.
The rest of the day was quite nice. Miss L came in for cuddles quite early, missing her sister! She then set up a fair with lots of games and challenges. She thrashed me at noughts and crosses!!
Miss E arrived home at about 11am. She had a great time last night by the sounds of it. The last to go to sleep!!
We had a lazy couple of hours eating popcorn, prawns and houmous and watching Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief which they watched last night and which Miss E wanted to introduce Miss L to.
I went to the gym for the first time in months which was quite good. I took it easy to avoid injuring myself/collapsing in a heap!! 
Then came home for a bath and a bit more laziness.
It all went a bit wrong when the dreaded homework word got mentioned. Ten general knowledge questions which shouldn't take more than ten minutes.
Even allowing for her tiredness her behaviour is ridiculous!!
I managed to avoid last week's catastrophic screaming match by telling her I wasn't going to say a word to her for an hour and leaving Mr K to it.
It still took the best part of half an hour and her scowling, whining, whimpering, pouting, shrieking, cowering, shouting and general craziness carried right on until bedtime.
Fun.
