Gently down the stream

Queenie's 90th

I am overwhelmed by all your lovely comments on yesterday's and the hearts and stars.  Thank you, thank you, thank you x

This afternoon I went down to the Cathedral Green to see some of the shenanigans surrounding the Queen's 90th birthday.  Somehow not quite as much as I'd expected, but swingboats (here), a roundabout and a very long double row of tables serving afternoon tea to the invited.  The extra is of two of the splendid ladies - dressed in red, white and blue - who were preparing said tea, and which gives the event a bit more context.

Rather sadly there was no sun.  It's just emerged (at 7pm).

Hope you've had a good Saturday, with tea parties, footie and whatever.  And have a great evening  xx
