Sometimes they survive

Plants, that is. I was quite successful with a child, I guess. But I can be a bit of a killer on house plants. I picked up this wee pre-planted box from the supermarket a few months ago, and I'm pleased to see there is some nice peace lily action going on now.

Meanwhile, as regards the day, the less said the better. However, after a slow start I did beat the publications record system of a grant awarding body senseless before lunchtime. But I'm immensely depressed about the prospects for the referendum.
