Shock Horror

‘Nooo!!’ she said rearing back in horrified amazement, nearly rocking over with shock as I recounted the sorry tales of Geraldine and Gladys. Mouth wide open and bulging eyes nearly popping with fright she squeaked, ‘How awful!’  Then looking at me squarely, ‘Don’t, just don’t come near me in the field with that boot, I’m only little!’ Well .... in all fairness I couldn’t have got over the wall anyway - very handicapped with this ankle atm.
