Strawberry soup; a first for me this lunchtime as dessert for our meal. I have to say an amazing gastronomic experience which included panne cotta, brittle, pistachios and obviously strawberries. Utterly delish as was the whole experience.
Very well done #1 daughter on a last minute booking etc as we had planned our Farne Island excursion this weekend but had to cancel. Not only did we get a free bottle of wine but Hubs also got a bottle of beer and an engraved glass courtesy of the restaurant. Lucky lad also got some Daylesford cheeses from his offspring too. Maybe this is what all those years of trauma were for ;)
