Hoverfly

Went to collect my gear and go out and take a few shots - tripod- nowhere to be seen. Found it in the end, left on a log on the side of a lake visited yesterday.. doh!
Moving swiftly on.............
He flitted in onto a thistle and flitted out - much like me - cooking mum's birthday lunch today. Loosely interpreted as a BBQ in the rain! English tradition?
