Chocolate box

It had to be done. There is a lot this sort of stunning scenery around here.

I was on the intermediate walk today which was 10.5 or 12 miles depending on which walk organiser you listened to. We went up in a cable car, then slogged further upwards fir a couple of hours.

There were 2 turquoise lakes to see. At the second a few went skinny dipping and I provided a towel for feet so they could get back into their boots.

We had wall to wall sunshine.

The descent was hard going in places. We all made it back, although a few (wimps) took the bus for the last 3 Kms.

What a great start to the holiday.

At home Mum saw GP and is on antibiotics for chest infection.
