Sunshine and Showers

I dodged the showers on the weekly grocery run to Sainsbury's in Stanway.  Mum didn't come with me, as she would have had to sit in the car while I whizzed round with the trolley.  She didn't miss much anyway!

I caught sight of these gorgeous purple flowers growing out of the top of one of the (extremely overgrown) shrubs in Mum's garden and loved the way the sunlight was shining through their petals.  I've no idea what they are.  I'm not feeling too bad about everything sprouting out so wildly, as even the most neat and tidy of our neighbours have got gargantuan hedges etc after all the sunshine and showers we've been subjected to recently.
