Cycle to Cromer

I must have thought it was Saturday as I turned off my alarm at 6 this morning, instead of snoozing it! Luckily I have one at 6.40 which is to remind me to wake Henry. Today it woke me & I leapt out of bed!

I felt a bit better than yesterday but I clearly need a good nights sleep, so will do this quickly then get off to bed.

My work was as normal. Mollie had a shift on the pier 11 to 6.30, so without Jon or I here, she had to use her own transport. Her trusty bike! The roads around here are a lot different to Cambridge but her journey is a bit shorter (4.7 miles each way). She said she felt tired, but she really enjoyed the ride home, even though it was mostly up hill. She saw two deer leaping through the long grass, and had to cycle through Felbrigg, dodging the sheep as they were in the same field that she was cycling through. As she arrived home, we saw two hang gliders overhead & she said they had been above her all the way home.

I have an ottoman which I am going to cover with new fabric, which I bought at a car boot sale. It will go in the conservatory and Henry and I spent some time removing the nails to take off the old fabric. I cut the new fabric to fit, but couldn't start to nail it on as I don't have the right tacks. I will go to the hardware shop tomorrow and hopefully can finish that tomorrow evening.

Nothing on tv and i haven't even put my computer on tonight. So I think I'll go to bed now and read for a while.

I might turn my alarm volume up a bit...
