When is a butterfly not a butterfly . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . .. when it's an orchid. Visited an amazing meadow on the edge of Oban today, more orchids than I've seen anywhere. I think I saw Northern Marsh, Heath Spotted, Common Spotted and this Greater Butterfly - in very large numbers.

The owner has tried to get permission to build on it, but has been refused on grounds of access, I'm told. I'm going to try to get it refused because of the biodiversity - we'll see!

I've added an extra picture. And another!
