Over the gate

After the intensity of the previous weeks away we've some at home over the summer. This morning, before the showers hit, we walked around the golf course and Woodland Trust in the sunshine.

I had to go off to a couple of Governor meetings for school in the afternoon. The first was off site and started with a very pleasant lunch prior to getting down to the work of the afternoon. The second meeting was of the full governing body which I chaired this time. We finished 5 minutes over time, which was quite good all things considered.

I made the decision to cycle to school to avoid the roadworks clogging up the centre of town. On balance, but the best of moves. Got there in the sun but had to come back in a persistent shower which would not go away. Should have taken a jacket.
