The bottom of the barrel

You know that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel when they appoint Boris Johnson as our Foreign Secretary, a man who has, among other things, described Hilary Clinton as having dyed blonde hair and pouty lips, and a steely blue stare, like a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital; called black people  "piccaninnies" with "water melon smiles"; won a prize for a limerick in which he described President Erdogan of Turkey as a "wankerer" who enjoyed sex-relations with a goat; offended President Obama by claiming that the "part-Kenyan president" had an ancestral dislike of the British empire.
I couldn't find a rotten apple to represent the man, so here is a rotten lemon instead.
