The Town Which Gave Its Name To Every Spa

My daughter and I had a brilliant run to Spa in her Honda S2000 track car following our friend Simon and in convoy with Gerry is his beautiful low mileage late model. We started the trip with roofs up as it can be trying top down on long motorway journeys. We dropped tops when the sun came out and arrived at Spa sunburnt. The first Mase beer went down so well on the terrace of the Rad Blu. We arrived just in time to see Hamilton win the Silverstone Grand Prix.

After a few more beers we went for a walk, had a nice meal and then sat in a bar on the square watching the world go by.

I've added a pic of the beautiful catalpa blooms to extras. These trees look like horse chestnuts in bloom from a distance but once close the huge heart-shaped leaves can be seen.
