Mabel and BB

Dear Diary,

A lovely day with D & R at their amazing home.  I could easily have used a shot of their gardens and pool (where I actually went swimming on the sultry afternoon) but I chose to showcase Mabel, their sweet Dachshund, and BB the most lovable Lab I've ever met.  Her lively spirit compliments his gentle old soul and they adore each other.

Heading home this afternoon.  It has been a really great week of exploration and discovery.  Our disgusting heat continues but I am hoping it will be a tiny bit cooler back home in Maine.  What we need is a week of rain!
