Marmalade Hoverfly

Well that is what I am tentatively identifying it as.  It was hanging hovering around the Rudbeckia Sahin's Early Flowerer.  Well that is what I have always believed it to be however the RHS seem to think it is Helenium not Rudbeckia and who am I to argue.

another day of wandering round the garden looking for interesting things a I had spent the morning doing some emails that needed sent and afternoon gardening.

Things are sorted for our few days in Scotland we just need to get the Lodge work out of the way tomorrow and off we go Sunday morning.  Fingers crossed for decent, well dry at least weather.
