Bluedot - Monday/Birthday girl

Much as she loves everyone else's, the Minx is not a fan of her own birthday, and the closest we got to a celebration this morning was Dan, Abi and I all singing happy birthday to her.

There was nothing on at the festival today apart from people packing up their tents. As glampers, all we needed to do was pack our bags and carry them to the car, which was parked less than a hundred yards from the main entrance. No real effort at all, thankfully.

Once I'd dropped Dan and Abi off, I spent most of the afternoon wrapping presents and sewing a case for the Minx's Apple Pencil, using some felt I bought in Longridge last weekend. There's not been any mysterious upgrade in my handskills, though; on completion it looked as though it had been made with love, not dexterity.

This evening, though, we had a bit of a celebration, opening presents and then going out for a curry with the miniMinx, which was the perfect end to a very happy few days.
