Keeping In Touch With Reality

This chick hatched on the 23rd June from a nest two doors along the terrace.
I first blipped it on the 29th June.
Then again on the 1st July and the 6th July.

There was an incident three weeks ago when it fell off the roof and landed seemingly unharmed in a neighbour's garden. I was able to retrieve it and restore it to its adopted home via my attic window.
I took the opportunity while it was off the roof to remove the dead body of its sibling who had died three days earlier.  Cause unknown.

Originally, it was one of three but over time, this has become the sole survivor.  It won't be long now before it is away.

Right now, it is back sleeping on our kitchen roof
