Dartmoor

An extremely slow and wonderfully sunny day!  Chilly, though.

We used the whole morning for breakfast then drove down to Dartmoor for the views.  This was shot during one of our stops, obviously.  Lunch at Widecombe in the Moor was just like breakfast -- in stages.  It took quite a while to order, then eat, lunch, followed by a separate chapter for dessert and then another chapter for coffee and tea.  In between, there was window-shopping and chicken chasing (you didn't need to guess that!) and then we explored the little church, and then off to Hay Tor, a shot of which you'll find as an extra.

When we got back, hubby caught up on the Olympics (I am really not inclined to follow anything there, although The Neth do have a gold in cycling now) while Mad Hen and I discussed all kinds of things and compared our respectively 230 and 219 shots.  At about midnight, hubby went to bed while Mad Hen and I droned on till 02.00.

The other extra is hubby and a horse having a cozy one-to-one.

Time is flying too quickly at the moment.  Mad Hen is a treasure.
