Life's Little Moments

Oh, the Anticipation!

One of today's major events at the AOG was Seed Hoovering and, as you can imagine, Team Chipmunk was expected to do quite well.  Seen here is Team Captain, Scooby, anxiously awaiting the judge's verdict.  He felt he'd done his very best, being able to fill both cheeks in record time...And I'm happy to report that he's now in competition for the all-around!  Very exciting times in the Stadium.

Also taking the platform in the Air Jumping contest was Madame 12 of Team Ode,  and in the highly anticipated Broad Jump, Team Grasshopper needed a helping hand.  Unfortunately, Jimminy of TG was never able to launch himself so missed out entirely on any chances of a medal in these Games.  Too bad as we all know how hard he'd been training.

This reporter took some time out of the busy day to attend the State Fair and was totally chuffed to learn that this photo took First Place in the Bird category at the fair!  Very exciting as I was up against some very good photographers.  Also, the photo is a personal favorite of mine so it was affirming that the judges also liked it.

As always, I encourage you to check out all the other AOG reports from around the world - I guarantee you'll be dazzled and totally entertained. Thanks to everyone who is participating - and if you haven't already joined it, it's not too late!  The AOG will run through 21 August.

Lots of events happening tomorrow, including some at a remote stadium where I'll be joining my naturalist group ...

Be well, people.
