'Gros Pain'....large bread!

Our very large, very last French loaf for the holiday. Jon said it will last us today and tomorrow! My concern is where will we pack it? It needs its own seat, or a roof rack, or something!

The day has been a hot one, and after packing our bags, we have spent the day either in the pool, in the sun or trying to eat all the food remaining....we have managed to get through 13 ice cream lollies and as many yoghurts in our attempt to leave the place empty without wasting anything. Mollie is still insisting we take back a half full tomato ketchup bottle, whereas I see a half full washing liquid bottle as higher priority!

We have enjoyed our last lunch outside in this glade in front of the house, and our last dinner in the barn, also outside. We think A Bois Mort gites was a real find, and has given us the proper rest we were hoping for.

Now I am losing at rummy for about the 14th night in a row. I need to go in and do a bit of cleaning. Our ferry isn't until 6.50pm tomorrow but as it is due to be a very hot day, we plan to leave early to beat the heat and the Saturday traffic. Then tomorrow afternoon relaxing in Calais maybe? Not sure if i will have WiFi to blip tomorrow. Should be in North Norfolk by midnight......I'll pack the sun & bring it home
