Arched Bridge

This pleasant "chocolate box" capture is in Castleroche village.  We went for a walk from the Blackwater Castle to the village - not a soul about, cool with mizzle from time to time.
Back for the full Irish Breakfast, then packup and our fond farewells.  Most were travelling to near and far destinations.  We got on the road at midday our destination Dingle,
A few stops along the way, got lost sortof in Killarny but nothing serious.  A bonus really, because of the wrong turnoff we ended up in the Killarny National Park and Ross Castle.  The weather wasn't great so really didn't linger long.

As we got closer to Dingle the weather really turned nasty and was absolutely tipping down.  We found a lovely BnB up on the hill behind Dingle and would you ever believe this......having a cup of tea in their conservatory another couple were doing the same.  Got chatting (asyoudo) and randomly the chap originated from Timaru and went to the same high school as Doug.  How small is this world of ours.  Lots of chatter followed, lots of reminiscing and laughter.

We went into Dingle for a fish & chips tea, but no mushy peas offered this time.

Off to sleep now and ever hopeful that the weather will be better for our trip around and about this peninsular.

I'm still way behind, but have put up a couple of new blog posts.
