Surprise, surprise

I've had a catch up day at home today while the rain rained and it was grey and miserable outside.

Later on the sun came out, so I enjoyed wandering in the garden, looking for a blip. Our apple trees are dripping with apples, they are small and not ripe yet, but the crop looks very good.

The other day, Mum said that the rockery area is very overgrown and she thought that the miniature cyclamens must have gone for good. Well, surprise, surprise, not only are they alive but they are in flower! There are white and mauve ones.

This was taken hand held and leaning at a very awkward angle, but you do have a glimpse of their beauty. Nature is wonderful!
