Goodbye summer

I have a very literal mind.  For me 1st September is the first day of autumn in the UK, whatever the boffs say.  So here's my farewell to summer 2016.

Apart from that, today's been a funny one.  I could have gone to a family get-together in London but decided not to, which turns out to be just as well because here my daughter's been really very unwell.  In a minute I shall go into town (for the second time today) to pick up a prescription for her, poor love.

And it looks like a quiet evening beckons.  Hope yours is enjoyable  xx
